Whitney Williams is a strategic consultant and survivor advocate with more than a decade of experience helping governments, NGOs, advocacy groups, and mission-driven companies prevent violence, support survivors, and safeguard communities. She’s worked at the CDC and the World Health Organization, leading multi-million-dollar initiatives, forging partnerships across 19 countries, and training more than 3,000 prevention professionals. Whitney’s expertise includes designing trauma-informed programs, building cross-sector collaborations, and developing safeguarding systems that have influenced global policies. Her work helps organizations implement better safeguarding practices and improve prevention strategies. As a domestic violence advocate, she’s seen the incredible power of bearing witness to survivors’ stories. That transformative power drives her to this work. She holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
